William M. Erickson, AIA

Principal Emeritus

Bill is a founding partner of Bechtel Frank Erickson Architects and has over 43 years of experience in the Architecture and Planning industry. His areas of expertise are residential design and the design of electronics and prototyping laboratories. Bill has served as Principal-In-Charge for the following projects: the renovation of Saint Peter’s Church in Weston, MA, Benes Communications offices in Lexington MA, the Dockmaster’s House at Marina Bay in Qunicy, MA, “The Palisades,” a mixed-use in Stowe, Vermont, the expansion of the Lincoln Laboratory Children’s Center and Health and Wellness Center, in Lexington, MA.  Bill has designed numerous new homes and residential renovations in the metropolitan Boston area. He has also provided pro bono services for both the Pearson and Sarah & Mark Wilson rooms at Hancock Church in Lexington, in addition to a restroom and concession building for the town of Lexington’s Lincoln Park Recreational Facilities.


Bill received his Bachelor of Architecture from Miami University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He has lectured on architectural design at both Wentworth Institute of Technology and Tufts University.


Bill resides in Lexington, Massachusetts with his wife Susan, and has two adult children. While he spends much of his spare time doing cabinetry and residential remodeling, Bill always prefers walking along the beach or by sitting in front of a fire with a glass of wine.
