Komal Mahajan

Komal Mahajan has been designing with BFE since graduating from the Savannah College of Arts and Design, Georgia (SCAD University) with a Master of Architecture in 2021. She received her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Mumbai University, India, following which she worked as a junior architect. She currently specializes in residential and senior housing interior renovation projects. Komal is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

As a designer, Komal aspires to develop creative and exciting spaces, while emphasizing natural, light-filled designs and cost-effective solutions. In addition to healthy materials, Komal believes that the healthiest home is the one where the owner loves to live! Within various styles, she prioritizes clean, classic lines, abundant natural light, balanced spaces, and smooth flow. These priorities, she feels, will lead to a design that is appropriate now and in the future.

Besides work, Komal enjoys hiking, painting, photography, and exploring new places. She takes an interest in various sports including taekwondo, badminton, and football.
