The office of Dr. Sam Levine was a study in simplification. The program focused on three main functions; Arrival, Reception, and Treatment, which were placed adjacent to one another and the boundaries between acted as moments of compression to emphasize the new larger rooms. Walking through the office, a patient can see all the way to the treatment area but must first pass through these interstitial spatial zones to truly get a sense of total space.
